WATTERS, Robert T. - Of Flint, age 78, died Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Thursday, August 8, 2019 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint,
Father Thomas Firestone officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 9:30am Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.
Robert was born in Flint on September 24, 1940, the son of the late Samuel and Helen (Downer) Watters. Robert retired as Captain of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department. He was also a United State Air Force Veteran and a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Flint.
Surviving are children, Jeff (Deborah) Watters of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Jason (Kathleen) Sexton of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Bobby Watters of Genesee, Michigan;
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and in-laws;
and many, many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia.
