BOISVERT, EDITH T. died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the Genesee Care Center. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Monsignor Jerry Vincke officiating. Interment at Lakeville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 P.M. Edith was born August 29, 1914 in Medford, MA, to parents Clarence and Teresa (Heldman) Forton. She was a faithful Catholic who loved the Lord and could talk about God for hours. Edith married Barney Boisvert, her beloved. She was an organist, an award winning artist, and an avid gardener, who grew vegetables and flowers. She loved animals, kitties in particular. She was a tough cookie. She loved chips and chocolate. Edith knew what she wanted right up to the end. Surviving are children Michael (Ada) Boisvert, Robert (Rebecca) Boisvert, James (Deborah) Boisvert, Judith Hunt, Margaret Konski; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Bernard Boisvert; daughter Barbara Daily; great-grandson Nicholas Daily. Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice. The Holy Family Catholic Church Food Bank or the Genesee County Humane Society.
