CINDRIC, George Thomas
Age 92, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2017. George was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Flint, MI, to Anthony and Mary (Kachmer) Cindric.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Dr.Judy Shipman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
The Saline Area Schools Care Village Initiative
(An Orphanage in South Africa).
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
He lived most of his life in Michigan and New Jersey. He served his country as a Marine specialist in World War II and had a long, successful career as an electrical engineer with AT&T. Family was the focus of his life and George was devoted to his family, always providing support and showing love through his actions. George was extremely loving, kind, and proud of his four children: daughter Mary Evelyn Eib (deceased); sons Robert Cindric of Saline, MI; Thomas Cindric and his wife Barbara of Newark, DE; and James Cindric and his wife Debra of Burlington, NC; nine grandchildren: James Eib, Brian Eib, Laura Cindric, Christopher Cindric, Jennifer Cindric, Rachel Cindric, Kathryn Reese, David Cindric, Grace Cindric, and three great grandchildren: Addison, Annabelle and Payton Eib. George is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. George was preceded in death by his beloved wife and mother of his children, Jeannine Cindric (Virzi); his beloved wife of 20 years, Sara Cindric (Bigsby); sister, Margaret and brother, Robert.
