LIVINGSTON, James R. “Jim” - Of Clio, age 70, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 4-8pm Saturday and 2-7pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Jim was born in Flint on March 19, 1943. He married Laura E. Dolgas in Flint on August 8, 1964. Jim retired from General Motors Delphi in 2001. He loved hunting, bowling, golf, watching NASCAR, camping, traveling and going to the casino. Jim was a member of St. Roberts Catholic Church in Flushing. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Surviving are wife, Laura;
sons, Jeff and wife Julie Livingston of Davison and Mark Livingston of Flint;
daughter, Pamela and Eric Abbott of Millington;
grandchildren, Hannah, Cameron and Gavin;
brother, Mike and wife Merry Livingston of Millington;
several nieces and nephews;
and good friend, John Culp.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Livingston.
