WISNIEWSKI, Jerome Anthony, age 85, of Swartz Creek passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00AM Monday, December 10, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church, 4063 W. Pierson Rd., Flint. Monsignor Anthony Majchrowski celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 5-8PM Saturday; 1-8PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and 9AM Monday until time of Mass at church. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society. Jerome was born September 25, 1927 in Flint the son of the late Aloysius and Louise (Wotzka) Wisniewski. He enlisted as a young man in the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. Jerome was then drafted to the U.S. Army during The Korean War where he was awarded two Bronze Stars. After his military service, Jerome married Wanda Wilczynski at All Saints Catholic Church on January 17, 1959. He was employed by Buick Motors until his retirement in 1982 after 30 years of employment. In his spare time, Jerome enjoyed hunting, fishing, gambling, bowling and all types of sports. He was a loving husband and father; and loyal to his brother, Gerald whom he missed very much when he passed in 2009. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Wanda; son, Mark Wisniewski and wife, Colleen of Fenton; daughter, Cathy Archer and husband, Alan of Johnson City, TN; two grandchildren, Zachary and Michael Wisniewski of Fenton.
