TOBY, Connie M. – Of Swartz Creek, age 65, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, after a courageous battle, waiting for a lung transplant. So please consider registering for Gift of Life.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Toby will be at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the Mass.
Connie was born in Flint, Michigan on October 8, 1949, the daughter of the late Corvin and Margaret (Korb) Onstott and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life.
On October 23, 1965 she married James Toby, Jr.
She attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Connie enjoyed beading, quilting, sewing and traveling.
Mrs. Toby retired from AC Spark Plug Division after 30 years of service.
Surviving are daughter, Denice Toby (Jackie) and son, Scott Toby;
grandsons, Tim Salazar and Blake Toby;
sisters, Nancy Onstott and Roxane Onstott-Valentine;
sister-in-law, Sue Onstott;
several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; son, Jimmy and brother, Gene Onstott.
