Mary L. Ballance, age 84, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. She was born on March 4, 1932 in Harbor Beach, Michigan to parents William and Bernetta (Woods) Cregeur. Mary grew up in Saginaw and moved to Flint shortly after marrying her husband, Charles Ballance, in 1953. She retired from General Motors. Mary was a faithful member of Mayfair Bible Church for more than 60 years. Mary is survived by her two children: Robin Light, Eric (Carolyn) Ballance; grandchildren: Kristen (Sam) Springthorpe, Jeremy (Jamie) Ballance, Jordan (Kirstin Kozak) Ballance, Jared Ballance; great grandchildren: Landen, Caeden, Camden, Finley, Matilda, and Vander. She was preceded in death by both parents, and loving husband, Chuck, in 2014. A funeral service will take place at 12pm on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Mayfair Bible Church (5339 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing). Pastor Dean Stewart officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 5-8pm at Reigle Funeral Home (5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing) and on Friday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11am. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Carriage Town Ministries or Youth Haven Ranch of Michigan. |
