BARKMAN, Timothy - of Davison, age 45, passed away December 12, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at Bentley Wesleyan Church, 6150 Lapeer Rd., Burton; Pastor Steve Johns officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Friday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or Bentley Wesleyan Church.
Tim was born in Flint on February 10, 1966, the son of Leslie and Joyce (Ruggles) Barkman. He was a member of the Michigan-Ohio Concert Choir and Bentley Wesleyan Church. Tim worked for Genesee County Animal Control. He loved caring for all animals.
Tim is survived by his father, Les (Linda); brothers, Tom (Missy), Steve and Scott; grandmother, Edna Barkman; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce; grandparents, Glenn and Lois Ruggles and Russell Barkman.
