COOPER, Lonnie L. - Of Flint, age 63, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, October 10, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lonnie was born in Flint on August 5, 1951, the son of the late Alonzo and Barbara Cooper. Lonnie graduated from Atherton High School, Class of 1969.
He loved all sports, hunting, telling stories, spending time with his family and never met a stranger.
Lonnie retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant and was a member of UAW Local #659.
Surviving are daughters, Lori Abernathy of Davison, Lynette Cooper of Flint, Kelly and husband Tony Asbury of Burton;
grandchildren, Donnie, Garrett, Emily, Anthony and Keagan;
dear sister, Sharon Bigger of California;
former wives, Linda Wilson of Flint and Debra Cooper of Flint.
