KONSZA, Beatrice M. of Clio, age 91, died July 1, 2017 at McLaren General Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday July 6, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 S. Ballenger Hwy, Flint MI, Rev. David Hensler officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt Morris. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church (general fund). Visitation Wednesday July 5 from 2-4 PM and 6-9 PM at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint. Mrs. Konsza will be at the church from 10:00 AM Thursday until time of the service. She was born in Flint, MI June 7, 1926. Graduate of Flint Northern High school. Avon representative for 37 years. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church since birth, 91 years. She loved serving her Lord in many capacities; Alter Guild, Prime Timers, quilting, Widows Group, telecare caller, and was in Stephen Ministry. Loved bowling, golfing, fishing, gardening, camping, playing cards, participating in Senior Winter games for 39 years.
Married Jim Konsza June 5, 1948. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1996. Dear mother of Gary (Peggy), Ken (Stephanie) and Ron Konsza. Loving grandmother of Tiffany (Mark) Konsza, Alyssa Konsza (Paul Novak), Nicole (Jason) Ransom and Amy Konsza. One great-grandson Noah Konsza. One sister Norma (Robert) Walsh.
She was preceded in death by husband Jim Konsza, brother Clifford (Beatrice) Maeder, parents Ben and Bertha Maeder.
She blessed everyone whose lives she touched and will be sorely missed by friends and family.
