VERDOUX, Henriette “Mimi” - Of Flint, age 89, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to National Parkinson Foundation.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Henriette was born in Lourdes, France on March 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Pierre and Anastasia (Sales) Dabat. On January 30, 1948, she married Robert Verdoux in Lourdes, France. She moved to Montreal, Canada in 1951, then to the United States in 1954. Mimi loved to do needlepoint and knit. She also loved the outdoors.
Surviving are husband, Robert;
sons, Pat (Dany) Verdoux, Marc (Angie) Verdoux, Glen (Carol) Verdoux;
daughter, Marie (John) Smith;
grandchildren, Jacob Verdoux, Ashley Smith, Courtney Smith;
great-grandchildren, Sebastien and Jayden Verdoux;
brother, Jean Dabat and family;
cousins, Lucien and Maite Poque and family.
Thank you to the devoted nurses at McLaren and to Dr. Bhagat.
She was preceded in death by son, Jerry, Daughter, Tina Marie, grandson, Paul Verdoux and granddaughter, Claudine Verdoux.
