PETERS, Charles Henry Jr. – of Flint, formerly of Millington, age 50, passed peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2016 surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Millington Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County on his behalf.
Charles was born May 8, 1966 in Flint, the son of Charles and Barbara (Hyde) Peters. He was a 1985 graduate of Millington High School. Chuck had 21 years’ seniority with Flint Truck and Bus and was a member of the UAW Local #598. He enjoyed bowling and riding Harleys with his friends. His favorite pastimes are fishing, camping, and most of all, just spending time with his boys.
Surviving are: Sons, Joshua Peters of Flint, Jonathan Peters of Canton; Parents, Charles and Barbara Peters of Millington; Sisters: Angel (Mathew) Maritz of Traverse City, Laura (Mark) Stillman of Grand Blanc; Nieces and Nephews: Taylor Peters, Makenzie Payne, Evan Maritz, and Zoe Maritz.
