WRIGHT, Sandra - age 78, died peacefully on Sunday, June 2, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held 4PM Friday, June 7, 2024, at the Messiah Lutheran Church - 520 Butler St., in Clio. Vicar Daniel Bueckman officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12PM until the time of service.
Sandra was born September 16, 1945, in Flint, to the late Harold and Lorene (Carlson) Wright. She attended Genesee Community Schools and worked in the healthcare field for much of her life. Sandra was an avid member of the Messiah Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed visiting the senior center where she would partake in crafting activities. In her spare time, Sandra loved being outdoors tending to her flower gardens or visiting local antique stores. She loved to keep her hands busy with beading and was very interested in her Swedish heritage. Above all, her family meant the world to her. Sandra was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Sandra is forever remembered by her Children: Denise Thygesen, Michelle Myers, Michael (Angela) Thygesen; Grandchildren: Michael Myers and Michael Thygesen; Siblings: Suzanne Hicks, James Wright, and Gregory (Patricia) Wright; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Sandra was preceded in death by her Parents, Harold and Lorene. |
