BERGERON, Eleanor - Of Flint, age 80, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday, December 27, 2014
at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton,
Reverend Monsignor Richard J. Groshek officiating.

Cremation will take place following the service.

Visitation 5-8pm Thursday and 1-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Bergeron will be at the church 10am Saturday until the time of the Mass.

Eleanor was born in Flint on January 27, 1934, the daughter of the late Roderick and Mary (Campbell) McDonald. On September 14, 1957, she married Norbert Bergeron. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the Altar Society and member of Daughter of Isabella. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, and shopping with her granddaughters.

Surviving are husband, Norbert;

children, Rebecca (Jerry) Schott, Matthew (Christine) Bergeron, Christopher Bergeron, William Bergeron and Renee (Mark) Lozen;

grandchildren, Bryan, Ian, Jennifer, Ashley, Matthew II, Nicole, Justin, Tawney, Jessica, Chantal and Krystle;

great-grandchildren, Gator, Kora, Kari, Payton, Elijah, Erza, Sylas, Kala, Aubrey, Carley, Bailey, Grace, Carlee and Leland;

brothers and sister, Irene(Mike), Dorothy, Cathy, Rod (Sharon) and Janette.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Wallace and James and sister, Joan.
