MORROW, Evelyn C. - Age 92, of Lennon, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Private burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 5-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice.
Evelyn was born March 5, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of Lyle and Emma (Meyer) Kimmery. She was a 1946 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married Ray Strom in 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1947, she then married Joseph Morrow in 1955 and he preceded in death in 1972. Evelyn was employed as a bookkeeper by Delta Vision Optical Center for over 30 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, traveling Up North and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are: her children, Linda Laws of Grand Blanc, Carol (Robert) Moorman of Ft. Myers, FL, Robert (Lisa) Morrow of Flushing, and David (Magda) Morrow of Gaines; grandchildren, Joseph Unangst of Fenton, Adam Morrow of Gaines, Shelby Morrow of Flushing, and Samantha (Andrew) Marsh of Clarkston; great granddaughters, Alexis, Mila, and Nora; sister, Lila Evans of Albany, GA; and nieces and nephews.
