EWELL, Margaret J.– of Montrose, age 79, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Heartland Hospice Chaplain Steve Hittle officiating. Burial to follow in Montrose Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM until time of services at 1 PM. Contributions may be made to the family. Margaret was born May 25, 1935 in Flint to the late John and Thelma (Peek) McSigue and resided in Montrose the past 51 years. She married Evert "Don" Ewell in Flint. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2007. Mrs. Ewell retired from Vlasic Foods. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints. Margaret enjoyed embroidery, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and going out to eat. Surviving are: children, Cheryl Jones of Montrose, John Ewell of Alger, James (Sarah) Ewell of Montrose, Ryan (Linda) Ewell of Montrose, Corey (Sheila) Ewell of Prescott; grandchildren, Kim, Hidie (Terry), David Jr. (Angie), Joseph (Stacey), Karrie (Mike), Ricky, Amanda (David), Heather and Brandon; great grandchildren, Amber (Mike), Tiffani, Mandi, Brooklynn, Cody, Jordan, Corey, Xzavior, Isabella and Cloey; great great grandchildren, Layla, Andrew, Ryan, Chase, Damion and Ricky Jr.; brother, Gary McSigue of Flint; many nieces and nephews.
