CAINE, Judith M. - Of Grand Blanc, age 70, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Saturday, October 27, 2012
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McLaren Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
Visitation 5-8pm Thursday, 1-8pm Friday and 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Judith was born in Gladwin, MI on August 24, 1942, and was a resident of Grand Blanc since 1964. She was employed as a cook for Grand Blanc Schools for 20 years. Judith enjoyed bowling, golf and was an active participant in the McLaren Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
Surviving are sons, Jeff (Dawn) and Joe (Roxanne);
grandsons, Jason and Brian;
step-children, Patricia (Jim) Morey, Linda (Tom) Caine-Smith, Mike (Vicki) Caine and their families;
brothers, Duane (Betty) Heffner, Ron Heffner and Dennis (Micki) Heffner;
sisters, Lois Howell, Bev (Tom) Cameron and Karen (Tom) Miller;
sister-in-law, Pam Heffner;
several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Jeri Taylor, Guardian Angel, and to her niece, Susan Franklin, for their committed friendship and care. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Jagdish Bhagat, Dr. Frazer Wadenstorer, Val McLeod and staff at McLaren Pulmonary Rehabilitation for their medical expertise and devoted care.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael, parents, Edwin and Gladys Heffner and brother, Ken Heffner.
