PREVO, Lawrence Lee “Pipe” – of Flint, age 84, passed away February 19, 2013 at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G-5199 Richfield Rd., Flint, MI 48506; Rev. George Puthenpeedika Celebrant. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. At 7:30 p.m., there will be a Memorial Service under the auspices of the Davison Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree Council #4090 and 4th Degree Assembly #0523. On Thursday, there will be visitation for one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Lawrence was born in Flint on March 9, 1928, son of the late Ernest and Julia (Labo) Prevo. He married Patricia Ann Davis in 1950 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Lawrence was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, achieving 3rd and 4th Degrees. Lawrence was a Millwright, retiring from Buick.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of more than 62 years, Patricia; children, Raymond (Susan), Larry (Anne), Fred (Barbara), Loretta Marie Hayden, Michael (Theresa), Sherry Ann Wolosonowich and Jerry (Susan); 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Janet Prevo, Mary and Leatha. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, a sister and son-in-law, William Wolosonowich Jr.
