PORTER, Elizabeth J. – Of Flint, age 72, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Gregory Rowe officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Elizabeth was born in Flint, Michigan on May 3, 1941.
Surviving are 9 children, Sharene Gibbs,
Carol and James Holbrook,
Annie Robinson,
Robert and Alicia Zelinski,
Betty and Chris DeLong,
Mary Zelinski,
Lisa and Andy Purdue,
Leroy Jr. and Amy Porter,
Linda Porter and Jason Kinnamon;
21 grandchildren, Teresa, Eddie, Tina, Michael, Ryan, Nickolas, Christopher, Megan, Corey, Elizabeth, Katie, Johnny, Heather, Heidi, Andy Jr., Holli, Brittany, Jennifer, Jason, Bailey and Jeremy;
14 great-grandchildren;
siblings, Francine and Terry Boone, Frank and Sue Zelinski, Tony Zelinski and Suzanne Zelinski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; son, John Porter and great-grandchild, Cheyenne.
The family would like to thank the staff of Genesys Regional Medical Center for the wonderful care they provided for our mother.
