EICKHOLT, Wilhelmina D. – of Clio, age 94, died Tuesday. July 10, 2018 at St. Francis Home of Saginaw. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Friday, July 13, 2018 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church – 230 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Coughlin officiating. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Maple Grove. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Thursday from 3PM until 8PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio or St. Francis Home of Saginaw.
Wilhelmina was born May 17, 1924 in Amite City, Louisiana to the late Frank and Catherine (Giesken) Vincke. She married Frederick W. Eickholt on June 10, 1944. He preceded her in death November 1, 2005. Wilhelmina was a very active member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio, she loved attending Mass and praying the Rosary. She was a devout Catholic who knew the love for her Lord. Wilhelmina enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and sewing. She always put others before herself and loved her family greatly.
Surviving are: Children: Jerald (Barbra) Eickholt, Cathryn (Mike) Pergande, Robert Eickholt, and Kenneth (Marie) Eickholt; Daughters in law: Arlene Eickholt, and Joan Rayl; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; Sisters: Theresa Mahoney, and Marge Emmendorfer; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.
