JOHNSTON, Marilyn Kay - age 66, of Linden, died April 6, 2019. Visitation will be held from 1 PM - 5 PM Friday, April 12, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden where a prayer service will be held at 2 PM Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Marilyn was born November 12, 1952 in Flint, the daughter Robert J. and Nancy K. (Edwards) Bell and was a graduate of Carman Ainsworth High School. She married John H. Johnston on July 25, 1988. Marilyn was a dental assistant for Dr. Patricia McGarry retiring in 2010. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell and enjoyed gardening, yard work, flowers, sports and was an avid Tigers fan. Surviving are: husband, John of Linden; and brother, Jim (Karen) Bell of Swartz Creek. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and two brothers, David and Robert Bell.
