WILLIAMSON, Donald Jerry - Of Davison, age 85, died Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Undersheriff Chris Swanson officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-5pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Don was born in Flint on February 2, 1934, the son of the late Richard Columbus Williamson and Merrible Margaret McDougal. On April 29, 1972, he married Patsy Lou Middleditch and they were happily married for 47 years. Don was business owner and former Mayor of Flint who focused on giving back to the community.
Surviving are wife, Patsy Lou Williamson;
sons, Michael Williamson, John (Amy) Gartrell and Scott (Julie) Williamson;
daughter, Deanna Williamson;
many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
and 3 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his children, Rick, Lisa and Sharon, grandsons, Ricky, Zach, parents, sister, Rosemary, brothers, Dick, John and Bob.
