Ms. Lolita Hill went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 4, 2019. Funeral service will be held 11 am, Friday, December 13, 2019 at United Missionary Baptist Church, 6440 Clio Rd. Flint, MI 48504. Family hour will begin at 10 am at the church Friday. Family will receive visitors from 12noon - 4:30pm Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Rev. W.C. Towner, Pastor, officiating. Cremation to follow. She was born on April 21, 1957 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the daughter of Ann Hill and Walter Smith. Lolita attended public school in Holt, Alabama, but she graduated high school from Flint Northwestern in 1975. Lolita graduated from Jordon College in Flint, Michigan where she earned an Associates Degree in Cosmetology. She raised two sons and had several jobs. Beside raising her sons, her most fulfilling job was working at the Kids Corner Bundles of Luv Daycare. She worked there for over 25 years up until her illness. She was dedicated to her job and had a tremendous love for her children. She sung in the United Missionary Baptist Choir. Lolita had a personality that could fill a room she was such a happy person who could make anyone laugh and she would laugh with you. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Dallas Cowboys, she also enjoyed singing, dancing and playing the slot machines on her computer. Lolita also loved spending time with all. She is survived by sons Keith and Willie, her companion Billie Beck, Brother Zeg Hill, Uncles Walter Abrams and Louie Abrams, Aunts Carrie Ann (Louis) Griffin , Bondita Johnson, best friend Virdean Johnson, grandchildren Brayden Hill, Pryce Hill, Pasley Hill, Peyton Hill, Anija Mayfield, Jayona Mayfield, GG Williams and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends Terry and Tammy Beck. Lolita was preceded in death parents, Walter and Annie Lee Smith, grandmother Hattie Abrams, great grandmother Carrie Thomas, and sister-in-law Marilyn Hill.
