HOOKER, Louise Isabelle - Age 85, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, July 1, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 8, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 11 AM until the time of the service. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Lapeer County Medical Care Facility Auxiliary "Suncrest", 1455 Suncrest Dr, Lapeer, MI 48446.
Louise was born January 24, 1934 in Malden, MO, the daughter of Delbert and Lucy Belle (Williams) Elder. She had resided in Lapeer for the past 2 years coming from Swartz Creek. She married Arthur Hooker October 9, 1953.
Surviving are: her husband of 65 years, Arthur; her children, Linda (Donnie) Wangler of Swartz Creek, Shirley (Rick Hess) Gutierrez of Fostoria, Rhonda (Steve) Woodring of Davison, and Steve (Tammy) Hooker of Columbiaville; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
