WILSON, Tonya – of Clio, formerly of Birch Run, age 81, died peacefully Saturday, June 22, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time.
Tonya was born April 17, 1943, in Flint, to the late Andrew and Maurine (Howard) Taylor. She attended Birch Run High School where she received her high school diploma and was a wonderful stay-at-home mother for much of her life. On September 19, 1960, she married Edwin Wilson, and together they shared over 50 years of marriage. Edwin preceded her in death on March 31, 2011. Tonya enjoyed catching up on her favorite TV shows and talking with her family over the phone. During her younger years, she liked to keep her hands busy with crocheting and knitting. Above all, she loved her family. Tonya will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Tonya is forever remembered by her Son: Scott Wilson (Mary); Grandchildren: Amanda, Sarah, Bridget, Karina, Nicole, Christopher, Heather, and Trevor; 8 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Linda (Eddy), Dianne (Sandy), John (Kim), and Jim (Joanne); Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Tonya was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Edwin Wilson; Son, William “Bill” Wilson; Daughter, Tammy Wright; Son-in-law, Mark Wright. |
