LONG, Shirley Faye - Of Burton, age 62, died Friday, October 4, 2013 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Monday, October 7, 2013
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Joseph Lindsay officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to Gentiva Hospice.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday and 11am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Shirley was born in Dexter, Missouri on April 30, 1951, the daughter of the late, Lenard and Eva (Redding) Cavness. On June 23, 1973, she married Richard Long in Flint.
Surviving are husband, Richard;
children, Heater Casas and Richard (Melina);
grandchildren, Justin, Richie and Evelyn;
sister, Wanda (Ron) Ferris;
brothers, Ken Cavness and Berley (Migdalia) Cavness;
many nieces and nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by brothers, Lenard and Bill and sister, Clara.
