WILSON, Margaret Marie – Of Lewiston, formerly of Flint, age 76, went to heaven on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor David L. Engel officiating.
Margaret will rest in peace at Flint Memorial Park.
If you wish to make donations in honor of Margaret Wilson, please make all donations to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Margaret was born in Flint, Michigan on March 5, 1939, the daughter of Leon and Emma (Thomas) Frost and grew up and worked in Flint. She retired from the Fair Store.
She married Gene Wilson on May 14, 1955 in Flint.
She was a resident of Lewiston, Michigan for 25 years.
Margaret retired from Glen’s Supermarket.
Margaret was a member of Lewiston United Church of Christ Congregational. She enjoyed bowling on leagues and many tournaments.
Surviving are three children, Ranae and husband Ralph Adkins of Flint;
son, Craig Wilson of Constantine, Michigan;
10 grandchildren, Crystal, Brandon, Christine, Todd, Michael, Melissa, Ryan, Chelsea, Austin and Brianna;
numerous great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, on November 10, 2000 and son, Scott.
