GITTINGS, Harold W. Jr. – of Flushing, formerly of Gladwin, age 73, died Friday, December 28, 2018 at McLaren Regional Medical Center of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jesse English officiating. Burial will be 2PM Friday in McClure Cemetery, Gladwin Michigan. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 8PM and Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Harold was born November 28, 1945 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Harold and Helen (Pickell) Gittings Sr. He married Donna Grace Linton on September 24, 1966. She preceded him in death on December 22, 2014. Harold retired from Buick in 1995 with 30 years seniority. He was a member of the UAW Local #599, the Clio Eagles Aerie #3609 and REACT – (Radio Emergency Associated Communication Teams). Harold enjoyed Ham and CB radios, hunting, target shooting, and get togethers with family.
Surviving are: Children, Brian (Michelle) Wykoff, Bethann Clore, Karen (Robert) LaPan, Berry (Jamie) Gittings, Harold Gittings III and Howard (Angela) Gittings; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; Stepmother, Edna; Sisters; Many other loving family members and dear friends.
