LEDYARD, Maxine M. –age 92 of Burton, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Lapeer County Medical Center Facility. Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2014 from 10AM-1:30PM at Brown Funeral Home 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1:30PM. Rev. Robert L. Dickie officiating. Maxine was born February 24, 1922 in Walsemberg, CO to the late William and Henrietta (Passmore) Mellow. She married Harley Joseph Ledyard in El Paso, TX. She worked as an inspector for AC Sparkplug before retiring in 1958 after 18 years of employment. Surviving are her children; Char Raymond, Pam (Dale) Stewart, Paula (Gordy) Taylor, Ron (Terri) Ledyard, Judi (Jeff) Bronson, grandchildren; Trent, Todd, David, Alisa, Scott, Chaz, Kalee, Rob, Heather, Jessica, Michael, and Rory, great-grandchildren; Mercedes, Courtney, Zachery, Bella, Leilani, Isabell, Jayde, Hannah, Connor, Austin, Taylor, Waylon, Sierra, Casey, Tara, and Austin, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Henrietta Mellow, husband; Harley Ledyard, daughter; Tina Barnhill-Ledyard, 3 sisters and a brother.
