WALTON, JoAnn M. – Of Burton, age 73, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Steve Makranyi officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
JoAnn was born in Flint, Michigan on April 21, 1942, the daughter of the late Mathew and Antonia (Bodek) Piotrowski and was a resident of the Flint area all her life.
On May 2, 1964 she married James Walton.
She graduated from Sacred Heart High School. JoAnn was an avid golfer, she loved playing Bingo, going to the casino and shopping with her daughter, Laurie.
Mrs. Walton formerly worked at Genesee Bank and AC Spark Plug.
Surviving are husband, James;
daughter, Laurie and husband Bill Sollund;
two grandchildren, Lindsey Sollund and Eric Sollund.
