SHANNON, Timothy Lee of Knoxville, TN, age 68, died Friday, November 15, 2013 in TN. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Gary Johnson, ICG Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Township Cemetery on Friday. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 AM until time of services at 3 PM. Contributions may be made to Intercontinental Church of God or the National Association of Physically Handicapped.
Tim was born September 18, 1945 in Owosso to the late John and Elizabeth (Bailey) Shannon and was raised by his mother and late stepfather, Rollin Vroman. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Tim retired from Flint Truck and Bus. He married Dorothy Carlson on May 14, 1992. He was a member of the Intercontinental Church of God, UAW Local #598, NAPH and a lifetime member of the New Lothrop VFW Post and the Clio FOE. He enjoyed bingo, bowling, dancing and walking.
Surviving are: wife, Dorothy; children, Timothy (Mona) Shannon of Interlochen, Amy (Mark) Burk of Mancelona, Kenneth (Yvonne) Fee Jr. of MO, Joe (Melissa) Fee of TN, Henry (Maryellene) Fee of Saginaw, Margie (Steve) Harden of Millington, Catherine (Rick) Coatney of AL; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, John (Joyce) Shannon of Gaylord; sister, Susan Martin of Flushing; many nieces and nephews.
