PACIOREK, Florian “Joe” – of Clio, age 93, died Thursday, May 30, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 4PM, Monday, June 3, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Fr. John Fain officiating. Cremation to follow. Military honors will be conducted under the direction of VFW Post #1452. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 12PM until the time of service at 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Joe was born May 29, 1926 in Auburn, New York to the late Michael and Agnes (Gorecki) Paciorek. He married Delores Noyce on December 29, 1951 at All Saints Catholic Church in Flint. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II, proudly completing a tour in Japan. He owned and operated the OK Barber Shop in Flint from 1962 until his retirement in 1996. After retirement he worked for Miles T. Martin Funeral Home for 18 years. Joe was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. He enjoyed making clocks, playing music, and singing. Joe was very talented with crafts and building.
Surviving are: Wife of 67 years, Delores Paciorek; Children: Chris Burns, Randy (Mary Beth) Paciorek, and Tami Dunich; Grandchildren: Anthony (Jennifer) Burns, Mandy Burns, Adam Paciorek, Benjamin (Natalie) Paciorek, Danielle Brooks, Elizabeth (Alan) Barry, Joseph Tyszko, and Kaeli Dunich; 7 great grandchildren and brother, Frank Paciorek.
