KANE, Jonathon E. (Schwartz) – of Mt. Morris, age 63, passed away January 6, 2016 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 4 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 2 PM until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Jonathon was born in Flint, MI on November 5, 1952, son of Alice (Dulser) Schwartz. He was a longtime resident of Davison and absolutely loved his community. Jonathon was an avid Lions fan and was very passionate for people and photography. He was a longtime journalist and editor at the Davison Index.
Jonathon is survived by his mother, Alice Schwartz; daughters, Marisa (Kevin) O’Neil, Hannah (Chad) Freeman and Elizabeth Kane; grandchildren, Emilia, Macklin, Liam, Kyra and Lucas; brother, David (Penny) Schwartz; sister, LeeAnn (James) Withers; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Schwartz; niece, Amy Withers.
