HOLLENBACK, Russell Alois II, of Burton, age 58, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Bob Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Hollenback will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call 10AM-8PM Sunday. In recognition of his love of animals, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Mr. Hollenback was born December 28, 1958 in Flint, the son of Russell and Rosemany (Bixby) Hellenback. He retired from General Motors. Surviving are: wife, Kathleen (Weaver) Hollenback; 2 sisters, Jeanette (Roger) Music and Colleen (Doug) Flynn; brother, Peter Hollenback; and 2 very special nephews, Roger Music and Robert Music. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Hollenback in 1986 and his mother, Rosemary Homans in 2015. |
