DAVIS, Earl Wayne - Of Burton, age 85, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Minister Travis Toye officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday and 12pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Earl was born in Cardwell, Missouri on October 23, 1933, the son of Charles Jake Davis and Ruby Jewel (Eudaly) Davis. On September 13, 1952, he married Jacquelyn Vincent in Flint, Michigan. Earl was a lifelong member of Church of Christ, most recently attended in Grand Blanc and Davison. He was also a member of VA Local #370 Plumbers Union-Flint for 63 years. Earl loved music, books and attending his grandchildren’s many activities. Earl was a Master Plumber working many years at Steve’s Plumbing in Burton.
Surviving are wife, Jacquelyn;
daughters, Deborah Johnson (Bob Jenkins), Joy (Lenny) Wilson;
son, Jerry (Nancy) Davis;
grandchildren, Kevin Johnson, Benjamin and Lee Wilson, Mallory and Mitchell Davis;
great-grandsons, Lain Johnson and Layton Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Holland Eugene Davis, sisters, Bonnie McDermitt and Wilma Miles.
