COLETTI, Jack M. - Of Grand Blanc and Flint, age 91, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at MediLodge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Father Peter Lawrence officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or Reverence Hospice.
Visitation 2-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Jack was born in Saginaw, Michigan on July 2, 1927, the son of David and Arletta Coletti. On July 11, 1953, he married Nancy M. Porter. Jack was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and attended Flint Junior College. During World War II, he served in the United States Navy aboard the destroyer tender USS Markab AD-21. Jack was a member of the American Legion Post #413, member of the Grand Blanc Police Reserve, served on the Grand Blanc Township Board of Review, a member of the Buick Retiree Club, the Retirees of Greater Flint and a volunteer for Genesys Health System. Jack was employed at Michigan Bell, Factory Tool Supply (a family owned business), before being employed at Buick Motor Division for 27 years, retiring in 1983.
Surviving are 3 children, Sally Coletti of Grand Blanc, Jack Coletti Jr and wife Louise of Simpsonville, SC and Mary Coletti of Davison;
grandchild, David of Simpsonville, SC;
brother, Donald and wife Virginia of Sunnyvale CA;
and niece and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy and parents, David and Arletta.
