STOLTENBERG, Cynthia – of Birch Run, formerly of Millington and Clio, age 63, died peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2024, at McLaren Flint surrounded by loved ones. Funeral service will be held 11AM Thursday, August 15, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Carol J. Freeland officiant. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 11AM until 8PM and Thursday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society.
Cindy was born June 24, 1961, in Flint. She received her high school diploma from Clio High School and proudly worked as a school bus driver at Clio and Birch Run Area Schools for several years. On May 20, 1996, Cindy married the love of her life, Ronald G. Stoltenberg, and together they shared 21 beautiful years of marriage. Ron preceded her in death on September 5, 2017. Cindy enjoyed being outdoors tending to her yard or garden and riding her motorcycle. She was a uniquely witty woman who loved making others smile and cherished spending time with family whenever possible. Cindy was the best mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Cindy is forever remembered by her Children: Angelena (Ryan Wright) Stoltenberg, Joseph Callender, Corey (Shannon) Callender, Holly Ellis, Amy (Frank) Comito, Jason Stoltenberg, Dean Stoltenberg, and Jeff(Jeanette) Stoltenberg; Very many beloved Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; Mother, Mary Laird; Brother, Tim Gleffe; Beloved Niece and Best Friend, ShaSheen “Sheenie” Snider; Bonus Children: Shantel, Daylene, Sierra, Lacey; Furry Companion, Bear; Several extended family members and wonderful friends. Cindy was preceded in death by her Husband, Ronald Stoltenberg; Father George Paul Gleffe; Siblings: Pam, George, Tom, and Mary. |
