Peggy Jean Haase
Age 83 of Owosso passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at We Care Assisted Living in Owosso.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 8, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Don Fields and Pastor Bart Glupker officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Peggy was born January 2, 1935 in Owosso, the daughter of LaMott and Virginia (Kingsbury) Sutliff.
She graduated from Owosso High School and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Peggy loved baking and catering for family and friends
She married John F. Haase in Owosso on June 27, 1953; he predeceased her on April 7, 2016.
Peggy loved baking and retired from Owosso Public Schools where she was in charge of the hot lunch program for many years.
Peggy is survived by her children Mark (Marcia) Haase, Keith (Laurie) Haase and Renee (Brian) Stevens; grandchildren Mark Jr. Alisha, Debbie, Becky, Heather, Andy, Megan and Bethany; 17 great-grandchildren; sister and brothers-in-law Betty and Wayne English and Dick Beckman; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband John, her parents, sisters Wava Beckman and Pattie Birchmeier and brother-in-law Dick Birchmeier.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church.
