Lorey Lawrence Fischer of Davison age 80 passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Monday, December 23, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 N. Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Carl Simon, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 4-7pm Saturday and 1-4 & 6-8pm Sunday at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison with a parish rosary at 7:00pm Sunday evening. Mr. Fischer will lie in state at the church from 10:00am Monday until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or Home and Health Hospice. Lorey was born in Flint, Michigan on July 11, 1933 the son of the late: George and Mabel (Snyder) Fischer and has resided in the Davison area for over 54 years. He was joined in marriage to Connie Callahan on June 25, 1955 at Genesee United Methodist Church. Answering the call of his country he served in the US Army during the Koran War. Mr. Fischer followed in the family trades and owned and operated the Home Printing Company until 2010. He is survived by wife Connie, children: JoAnn & James Ulanski, Nora & Warren Berry, Elvis Fischer, Eleanor Fischer, and Suzanne & James Robinson, He also leaves eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and sister Erma Bell.
