FOLEY, SUE LYNN – Of Flushing, died Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Beaumont Royal Oak.
Memorial visitation 1 p.m. and memorial service at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Scott Salo officiating.
Sue was born in Flint, Michigan on November 1, 1943, the daughter of Basil and Lucille (Katzur) Barker.
Sue was a Pediatric hospice volunteer for several years.
She graduated from Beecher High School and then Baker College.
She started her pharmacy career at Kopland Pharmacy and worked there for many years; before moving to McLaren hospital in 1990 where she would retire.
After retirement, Sue didn’t like to sit still so she started working part time along side her daughter at Union Prescription Center.
Sue loved to travel, but only if it was to somewhere warm! She was very active with her granddaughters and all of their activities growing up.
Surviving are daughters, Sheila Arnett and Jennifer Pemberton;
granddaughters, Mackenzie Pemberton and Courtney Pemberton;
sister, JoAnn (Tom) Basel; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sue also leaves behind her 15 year old teacup Yorkie, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ron Barker and Chuck Barker.
