Esther L. Worvie, age 91, of Columbiaville died December 20, 2016 at home with her loving family beside her.
Esther was born October 1, 1925 in Lapeer, the daughter of the late George and Clara Gardner. She later married Frank L. Worvie on July 22, 1944 in Lapeer.
Esther was a member of the Bethel Ladies Aid, and served as Past-President for the Lapeer Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, crafts - especially painting, canning, and was a dedicated Tigers Fan. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother, caring grandmother + friend to all. She will be greatly missed.
Esther is survived by her husband Frank,
Children: Kathy (Jack) Kerr, Barry (Donna) Worvie, Lisa (Marc) Dykes,
8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son Phillip.
Funeral service 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit Monday, December 26, 2016 from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM. Pastor Gene Smith officiating. Interment Meadow Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Esther may be made to McLaren Hospice.
