NATZEL, Beverly Dorine - Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday October 23, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Monday October 28, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint. Father Robert Copeland officiating, Father Anthony Strouse celebrant. Burial to follow at Bendle Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 12 PM-8 PM Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with a Rosary being prayed at 7PM Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held 10:30 Am Monday until time of Mass at the church.

Beverly was born October 7, 1936 in Flint the daughter of Stephen and Dorothea (Dean) Reddy. She married Laurence C. Natzel on October 17, 1953 in Flint. Beverly and her husband Laurence were longtime members of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek where she taught CCD and was a member of the Alter Society for many years. More recently was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Flint.
She was a member of Swartz Creek V.F.W. Post 3720 Ladies Auxiliary for 50 years, a volunteer for the Genesee Federation of the Blind, and enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader for the Fairwinds Council.
Surviving are: husband, Laurence C. Natzel of Swartz Creek; son, Robert (Deborah) Natzel of Mt. Morris; daughters, Mary (Kent) McVittie of Montrose, Rebecca (Ken Force) Natzel of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Calista (Gregory) Maynard of Flint, Jennifer Natzel of Flushing, David (Ashley) Natzel of Swartz Creek, Nicholas McVittie of IN, Kimberly Natzel of Swartz Creek and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Daniel Reddy of Flint and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bernard Reddy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to McLaren Hospice nurse, Sara Young and social worker, Tammy Beavers for their devotion and care.
