ROUSSEAU, Mary Ellen – of Clio, age 78, died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Medilodge of Montrose. Mass of Christian Burial in memory of Mary will be celebrated at 10:30AM Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 1-8PM and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30AM until time of Mass at 10:30AM. A Parish Vigil service will be held at 7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Corcoran House.
Mary was born July 3, 1937 in Vernon, MI to the late George and Mary Agnes (Flynn) Corcoran. She was a resident of the Clio area most of her life. She was united in marriage to Arthur Rousseau on May 2, 1964. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2008. Mary was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church for over 40 years and was active in many church functions. She attended the Prayer Group, Bible Study and was a Prayer Warrior. She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
Surviving are: Children: Kimberly Rousseau, Sean (Holli) Rousseau, Scott Rousseau, Dennis Rousseau, Kevin (Rhonda) Rousseau; Former Daughter-in-law, Becky Rousseau; Grandchildren: Regin, Reed, Travis, Anastasia, Zachary and Tyler; Great Grandchildren: Kailey Annabelle, Ethan, Ian and Levi; Siblings: Jim (Barb) Corcoran, Sharon (Dan) Pfeiffer, Dan (Diane) Corcoran, Shirley Corcoran; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 7 siblings: Francis, Raymond, Mary Theresa, Edward, Mike, George Jr. and Cleon.
