CONROY, Ronald William - Of Flint, age 73, died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Willowbrook Manor.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Old News Boys.
Visitation 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Ronald was born in Monroe, Michigan on May 16, 1946, the son of the late Francis and Besie (Ackley) Conroy. Ronald retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. He belonged to the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), member of American Independent Motorcyclist (A.I.M.) and ABATE. Motorcycles and riding were his passion.
Surviving are children, Drhonda Fitzroy (Keith), Anthony (Shawn) and Cassandra Conroy;
grandchildren, Andrea, Kaylin, Hayden, Ryan, Ashton, Lia, Bryson and Nicholas;
brother Jim (Laura) Conroy;
and very special friend, Sandy Sellers; best friends, Tom (Linda) McAlinden and Tom (Bonnie) Savage.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Conroy and sister, Nancy Stone.
