Vera Roberta Gregus of Davison age 91, died August 17, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI. Honoring Vera’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday August 30, 2019 ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬at St. John the Evangelist Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating.

Vera was born in Muskegon, MI on November 3, 1927, the daughter of the late Florence Doyle and Isaac Weishuhn. Vera was joined in marriage to William “Bill” Gregus Sr. on November 10, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and preceded her in death on February 24, 2011. They were married for nearly 60 years.
Vera worked for General Motors AC Division from 1950-1964. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Davison Country Club. Vera loved music and loved to polka with her husband. Vera had several hobbies with her favorite being golf. She also was an avid bowler, seamstress, crafter, and loved to make bears out of fur coats.
Surviving are children: William Jr. (Kim) Gregus, Gail Harman and John Gregus. Grand children: Jennie, Chad, Lori, Melissa and Jonathan; Great grandchildren, Conner, Jacob, Madison, Austin, Keegan, Matthew, Alec, Meddow, and her loving fur babies, Bella and EmmieJo. Vera was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kristen, and her best friend, Ginny Spinney.
