CUNNINGHAM, Donna Jean. – of Clio, age 82, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 1-8PM and Tuesday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. A memorial by the Clio Eagles Aerie #3609 will be held at 7PM Monday evening at the funeral home Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Donna was born May 14, 1934 in Shepherd, Michigan to the late Samuel and Mary (Merrifield) Miller. She graduated from Sterling High School where she was a basketball champion. Donna married Richard Cunningham on June 28, 1952. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2009. She was employed with Universal Tupperware in Clio for several years where she met her lifelong friend of 45 years, Pat Jones. Donna was a member of the Clio Eagles Aerie #3609. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, trips to the casino and shopping. Above all, Donna loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were all her pride and joy.
Surviving are: Children: Robert (Wendy) Cunningham of Swartz Creek, Martin (Terry) Cunningham of Davison, Lynn (Jeff) Mattingly of Clio, and Gerald (Melissa) Cunningham of Sterling; 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; Best friend, Pat Jones; Brothers in law: George Hoffman and Don (Tudy) Cunningham. Donna was also preceded in death by her son, Bradley Cunningham; Sister, Patricia Hoffman; Brothers: Charles and Sam Miller.
