WILLIAMS, Roger Stevens – of Burton, MI, age 71, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, December 9, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Interment Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 1-8 PM Thursday, December 8, 2016 and 9:30-10:30 AM Friday, December 9, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in Roger’s memory.
Roger was born in Flint, MI on October 6, 1945, son of the late Roy and Mary (Trip) Williams. He married Charlotte Withem on July 2, 1971. Roger retired from General Motors Delphi West, Plant 2A on June 1, 1995 after 29 years of service. He enjoyed wood carving, fishing and hunting.
Mr. Williams is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Charlotte; 3 sons, Roger, Jr., Mark and Jason Williams; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Debbie (John) Brown; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
