SHEILA J. COOK-GLOVER of Glennie, passed away November 10, 2012 at 56 years of age.
She is survived by her loving husband David. Step-son, Blake Glover, siblings; Randy R. (Susan) Cook, Kay Cook and Pamela (Gerald) Foye. One Brother-in-law, Robert (Barb) Glover. Nieces and Nephews; Nathan (Courtney) Cook, Matthew (Jessica) Cook, Michelle Ryan, Andrew Douglas, Bryan Douglas, Dawn Glover and Shea Glover. Also survived by five great nieces and one great nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Jean Luella Cook along with two sisters; Laurie Richmand and Carolyn Cook.
Shelia married David Glover on June 18, 2004 in Flint, Michigan. She worked for Oakland Psychological Clinic for 30 years, was a member of the Glennie Seventh Day Adventist Church and an active member of the Hale Eagles. She enjoyed the outdoors, loved her flower garden, spending time out with the girls and had one time been a member of the Oasis Pool League. She loved the family pets, Brooke the dog, Lucy the cat and her cat, Kitty of 20 years who passed away.
Mrs. Cook-Glover will be honored with two memorial services for which the family has requested "casual dress". The first will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Hale Chapel of the Buresh Funeral Home, 121 S. Washington, followed by a second memorial service also at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road in Flint. Memorial contributions suggested to Alcona County Humane Society or the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer. Those wishing to express words of sympathy may do so at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
