Lewis, Reba (Peggy) - Age 87, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30 2020 at Hyde Park Memory Care. Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a future date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to The Medical Team Hospice of Flint, American Cancer Society, or American Diabetes Association. Reba was born in Flint, on January 23, 1933. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School in 1951. On August 23, 1952 Reba married Douglas Lewis in Flint, and they were able to celebrate 50 years of marriage in this life, but together forever in their hearts. She was a proud member of Central Church of the Nazarene and CMI Michigan / Ohio Concert Choir for many years. As part of the CMI family, they traveled abroad to Israel and Russia, where they distributed Bibles, hymns and spiritual songs. She was so proud of her family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. As a wonderful cook, she also enjoyed sewing, reading, playing the piano and singing. Surviving are daughters, Julie (Lewis) Tuck and her husband Richard Tuck of Grand Blanc, Melissa (Lewis) Monette of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, James Reno, Emily (Reno) Fell, Marc Reno, Jordan Tuck, Aaron Tuck, and Trey Monette; great-grandchildren, James (JJ), Luke, and Anthony (Quinn) Reno, Frances Fell, and Eleanor Reno; brother, Patrick (Barbara) Choate; sister-in-law, Frances (Frank) Chrastek; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Graydon and Ocia Choate; husband, Douglas (2002); daughter, Laura (Lewis) Reno (2020); grandson, Daniel Reno (1984); siblings, Raymond, Jean, James, Jake and Betty. We will be forever grateful for the tremendous care our cherished mother received from family physician and friend, Dr. Fredrick VanDuyne, the staff at Abbey Park, staff at Hyde Park Memory and The Medical Team Hospice.
