McDonald, Gail Ann - Age 63, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday May 29, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held 5PM Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Brick Street of Grand Blanc, 1223 East Grand Blanc Road, Grand Blanc, MI. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location, Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Road, Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute (G.H.C.I.) Patient Care Fund, 302 Kensington Ave., Flint, MI 48503. Gail was born September 2, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Basil Vincent and Elinore (Curtis ) Vincent. She married Ron McDonald on December 24, 1991 in Fall City, Washington and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2013. Gail graduated from Swartz Creek High School graduating class of 1973 and she earned her Bachelors Degree from Western Michigan University in 1979. Gail worked for General Motors Metal Fabrication plant with 39 years of service. She enjoyed bowling, going to the casino, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are: brother, Mervin (Sharon) Vincent; sister-in-law, Sandy Vincent; nieces and nephews; three step-children; 6 step grandchildren and several cousins including Christine Lewis who has provided much care and support to Gail through her illness. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Merton Vincent. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
